Debbie Powell

Debbie Powell graduated in 2007 with a degree in illustration from The Arts Institute in Bournemouth, and joined The Artworks through the Startworks programme. Debbie uses the techniques of silkscreen printing, collage and painting, along with a strong discipline of pen and pencil drawing, to create her characteristic imagery. When Debbie is in need of inspiration, one of her favourite places to go is the British Museum, where she can be found wandering around the galleries with her sketchbook.
